PASADENA (CNS) - The U.S. Small Business Administration will re-open a
disaster loan outreach center in Pasadena next week to provide information
about low-interest federal loans available to residents and business owners
affected by the high winds that battered the Southland from Nov. 30 through
Dec. 4.
The loans are available to residents and merchants in Los Angeles,
Orange, Kern, San Bernardino and Ventura counties, according to the SBA.
The center will open at 9 a.m. Monday at the Pasadena Fire Headquarters,
199 S. Los Robles Ave., suite 550. It will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Monday through Friday until Jan. 20.
Disaster loans of up to $200,000 are available for homeowners to repair
or replace damaged or destroyed real estate. Homeowners and renters can get up
to $40,000 to repair or replace damaged or destroyed personal property.
Businesses and nonprofit groups can borrow up to $2 million, according
to the SBA.
