“Gong Hei Fat Choi!” means Happy Chinese New Year in Cantonese. Chinese New Year is officially over, but San Marino students from Valentine Elementary and Carver Elementary rang in the Chinese New Year recently.
The Year of the Dragon was ushered in with arts, crafts, Chinese songs, tasty treats and games.?The significance of the Dragon is its strength, power, hope and prosperity.As part of the celebration, students were welcomed to school with beautiful red lanterns along the Carver driveway.
